Marc D. Alexander
Speaker, founder, and author — and living proof that the lowest moment in your story can become the ground you build the rest of it on.

It started with a letter
Before any of the titles, Marc was a founder trying to get a business off the ground — and hearing the word no. Seven times. Seven loan rejections, each one landing like a verdict on whether he belonged in the room at all.
Then a stranger changed everything. A letter arrived with $16,000 inside and a single request: pay it forward someday. That one act of trust did more than fund an idea. It rewired how Marc saw the world, and it became the catalyst for the company he would go on to build.
He founded Lite Raise and spent the next decade turning generosity, grit, and clear thinking into something real. Along the way he became an author, a mentor to other founders, and a speaker — because the lesson from that letter was never meant to stay his alone.
Today Marc carries that same message to stages and audiences everywhere: your hardest chapter is often the one preparing you for what's next. He calls it downward growth — the idea at the heart of his TEDxPontiac talk — and it's the throughline of everything he does.
